Setting Your Racket

How to adjust and set your polocrosse racket.

Simple adjustments to your racket can be done quite easily.

Setting your racket image

If you are simply wanting to adjust a net that needs to be sped up or slowed down, then the following instructions and picture will help.

Remember - only make small adjustments at a time - 1mm at a time - check then do it again if necessary.

To speed up the net in your racket, loosen the top adjusting knot and move it towards "A" . Repeat on the other side of the net.

To slow down the net in your racket, loosen the top adjusting knot and move it towards "B". Repeat on the other side of the net.

(Note 95 percent of the time it is only necessary to adjust the 'top' adjusting point on the "straight" side of the racket - The opposite to the top adjusting knot shown in the above picture. I recommend that the 'bottom' adjusting knots on each side be left alone unless otherwise advised.)

Make sure that you retighten the knot in its original configuration once you have moved it either up or down the adjusting cord line.

Do not use nail polish or varnish to lock the adjusting knot.
